I became a caregiver because I love helping people. Caring for people is a honest attitude for me. I am a social service worker as well and in school for Cna. In my previous state Connecticut I also was a medical asst. Here in maine you need to exam all over. Where healthy help is needed I love to be there.

I currently have 7 years experience in healthcare, graduated with A. A. S. in para-medicine and currently possess a State of Maine paramedic license. I have experience working in hospital ED's, transport services and in emergency services. I am currently pursuing a nursing degree and I am looking for PT work in home care. I have many years of experience working with different age groups both in and outside of healthcare and I have really enjoyed it! I also have the necessary skills that are needed to care for a person with healthcare issues such as medical monitoring, medication administration, nutrition, etc. I also have a solid understanding of the pathology of many different diseases and illness such as diabetes, dementia, heart disease and the like. Most importantly I possess critical thinking skills needed to identify an emergency or changes that may lead to the need for further care. I possess a high degree of both professionalism and empathy. I have a great sense of humor and a ton of life experience. I treat my patients just as I would my own family and friends.
